Moot, petty point- but Port are down one player, not two.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Id play another tall, Buddy only marks on the lead
We need another tall option down the line

Very bad game. I thought it might be 50/50 over there but the effort was not there.

Some players under serious questions - and I include Rampe in that.

Showing a consistent ability to lose to Port

I think we need to lobby the AFL as hard as we can to get rid of the bye .

Definitely his best game for Port.

But I don’t think we had a winner across the field apart from him, so congrats.

Rampes giving away frees trying to body is dumb, they must put him and Wicks on each other at training

He needs to just go the ball

We always seem to struggle and lose all our momentum post bye

Until we learn to play 4 quarters we won’t be winning any premierships

                        Astonishingly poor performance.

Either we need to stop being Buddy-centric or they need to re-consider that contract offer. Buddy's play deserves it but our team fails to function as a cohesive forward line when he plays. I dont see it changing.

                          A bad bad loss

Who won their position? Heeney, maybe the McCartins. Mills and Parker ok but no better. The rest ….

The gap between our good and bad remains huge. Such a disappointing middle two quarters.

What frustrates me is at the moment, when things go bad, we really struggle to find any way just to grind momentum to a stop and turn it. Our best teams of the past couple of decades have been immense at minimising the damage the opposition can do when they are on top, and find a way to gradually shift momentum until finally it turns our way. This team at this point in its development just runs in spurts. It is a skill that takes time to master and develop as a team - but it is a huge gap we have at the moment.

It will come in time, but gee it is frustrating to watch when its going bad at the moment.

Ladhams needs a stint in the reserves after that performance.

Port just too good in the end. Needed a couple of veteran midfielders like Joey to lift us when we were down.

                                Yep that is it.

Too many first quarters thrown away and makes it bloody hard to come back.

I don't understand how we can be so bad early in the game - every week! I'm sorry but Longmire needs to fix that somehow.
