It’s got so bad that others are focusing on finding fault and pulling down his favoured player as part of the process to defend James. So now we have supporters looking for fault in another of our future stars just to respond to the ludicrous unbalanced comments that he makes.
Not so....Chad has been rightly called out for a poor performance yesterday.....and not just because RB is being picked on. There may have been a few cases of comparing the two but that's because a certain poster keeps comparing them.....and now won't have any criticism of his pet, which lead to posts pointing out how wrong he is. Chad is being knocked because after yesterdays effort, he deserves to be....like most of the rest of our team.

His attitude is honest and refreshing … “as he’s walking off at halftime with a severe shoulder injury he’s heard to say ‘that’s the best 35 minutes ever’,”

Today, Brynn (who is recovering from what could be an AFL career ending injury - given he was taken in the mid-season draft with no guarantees about a contract extension) asked if JMac was ok, saying that as he was about to make contact he deliberately didn’t raise his arm as he knew his own height would make it high and potentially harmful contact to JMac.

A genuinely nice, polite & humble guy who cherishes his 35 minutes of fame. I, for one, wish him a speedy recovery and that he gets another opportunity to realise his dream.
Lovely post. Agree with your sentiments.

And mod power trip? Seriously, the amount of time the mods spend cleaning up the mess around here as a result of some of the tirades that are posted by and in response to TB Danzer’s contribution is more deserving of Australia Day honours than your response. I’m personally impressed with Danzer’s efforts (though I wouldn’t begrudge TB his rants), we need the mods to keep RWO civil and they don’t need backlash for doing so

He single-handedly was the cause of a new thread where his vicious diatribes could be quarantined , rather than the usual practice of a stand-alone thread to discuss players in a positive or supportive way.
He has previously caused others to leave the forum and I for one now tend to spend less time on here because no matter how hard you choose to try and ignore his comments and thoughts he is somehow able to push enough button’s with others to derail most threads with his juvenile insults. Insults that he has said over and over again that he was going to stop inserting into every thread but unfortunately it seems like the lure of attention over-rides the option of responding maturely and staying on subject.
I seem to recall seeing yesterday him stating that the rest of the players didn’t like James and felt he was overrated or something similar.
I know you can ignore him and god knows I try but he is so successful at trolling that you get multiple responses quoting him and so the original thread subject once again gets hijacked.
I don’t want to sound to dramatic but it’s bullying and should not be considered acceptable or dismissed as something to not be taken seriously. If it was happening on social media he would be called out and possibly blocked or suspended .
Or imagine turning up to Swans training and calling out the rubbish he does I don’t think it would be looked on as just a passionate supporter with a twist giving his feedback
The only upside is that James is probably not even aware of this nasty malicious attention seeking hack masquerading as a supporter.
            Well said.

I for one am a previous contributor who's now relegated myself to an occasional lurker due to TBs behaviour on here. It's sad and it seems he needs help rather than dragging down a fan site.

No we are not. Do not call out one of the long-term legends of this site, who actually is one of the reason this site continues to exist at all.

I agree we need mods...as long as they keep it real. Seriously, if anyone thinks TB needs 'banning' then we're all in trouble!

.....and why is the Rowbottom thread locked FFS? Seems we're already all in trouble. I thought the mod's wanted 'lively' RB chat kept out of other threads. I just don't get it! It's very perplexing.

              An explanation would be nice.....

I think the mods wanted ‘lively’ RB chat from de-railing other threads and it might have become an unsavoury distraction in its own right.

As one of the RWO troublemakers myself, I usually would be against banning someone. But if it's become too much for Danzar, that's proof enough for me that TB has gone too far. I don't like hearing about members leaving RWO or not posting because of how the discourse on RWO has been degraded by TB's mannerism. TB's comments shouldn't be the focus of the forum, which is what it's become. It's okay to have disagreements, but we need to be civil about it.

The world is never going to be perfect....not saying we shouldn't try.....but it ain't happening, least of all on a footy discussion site.

The issue is it's not difficult to read the room and adjust posting to at least keep a fair and balanced debate. The only time I jump in (and it's rare) is when it gets to a point where we lose members because of a recurring type or level of debate. I then question whether the mods time and my time and money is being taken for granted.

This does not mean TB doesn't make some good contributions, but if on balance more is being taken then given, we need to step in.

Just be mindful of your posts. Get stuck into debate but read the room.

                          ‘my time and money’

It must be time for some ‘go fund’ to help Danzer keep the site going .
It must take up half his life.

Nice of you to say but it honestly doesn't take up too much time so happy to, and costs are modest so I don't look to fundraise

No doubt. I still think he should be dropped (and suspect he will be given Hickey got through today okay by the looks of it), and have no doubt it will be made clear that he has to do a lot better and learn from the experience. His few minutes of madness really came at absolutely the worst time in the contest, and were a significant contributor to the big momentum shift from which we never recovered.

But he is young by AFL standard still, inexperienced and I think does have plenty to offer. Lets hope yesterday can prove to be longer term motivation for him and his development and just a blot along the way.

Was really pleased to hear this too. He played well too up until his injury. It was just one of those collisions in footy - hard tough footy, but no intent to cause injury. On what he showed in the first 35 minutes, he could become a more than decent AFL player.
