Good luck everybody for today. I was lucky enough to pick up a ticket in the ballot through my Swans membership. I will be watching with a lot of other Swans members on Level 4 of the Olympic Stand. I'm hopeful but not confident today. It feels a bit like 2012 when we came in as outsiders against a powerful Hawks team. A few things went our way that day and the Hawks missed a few shots and the rest was history. Lets hope it is a repeat of that amazing day!

I want us to win today...but this quote from Charlie McCartin means more....

"John Longmire is seriously one of the best humans you will ever meet. He’s such an incredible man,” Charlie said.

Win, lose or draw, the Swans are a fantastic club . Go Swannies...

I am much less nervous about this game than last week. This season is win-win for our young team, it’s the ageing Cats, the oldest GF team in history, who are under pressure. It’s now or bust for so many of them, they know this is their last chance, and the pressure will be huge.
The mighty Bloods are at least a year ahead of where they were expected to be, and that Premiership window is wide open. We’re again a destination club with a bright future, and this season has been spectacular.
Come on Swannies, you can do this!! [emoji837]??[emoji837]??[emoji837]??[emoji837]??

No, only the UK. Our Swans are an independent, self-governing wedge (collective name for Swans in flight), who are members of the Commonwealth.

            Good Morning Everyone,

Very nervous as before all other finals but this one is next level.

IMHO I would not be suprised to see Fox go to follow Stewart - bit better in the air than Clarke and knows how to defend.

I think Clarke will go to Duncan and follow him around.

Hopefully we all have a great day!

            Go BLOODS!!!!

My anxieties about the game manifested themselves last night when I had some unsettling dreams about copping a flogging by about 150 points (184 to 35) and we were down by 50 points before we even scored. I was dreaming that we had our women's team playing by mistake.

Yeah but apparently every time we have changed monarchs, Collingwood have made the GF. We smashed that omen last week!

He has to say things like that at regular intervals to maintain his status as Longmire’s favourite McCartin brother.

It's finally game day! I had a much better sleep compared to the night before. And no weird dreams which is a nice change for me.

I'm so nervous now, especially after just reading everyone's posts.

I went grocery shopping this morning and it was nice to see lots of Red and White out and about.

According to Channel 7, Holmes has just been ruled out for Geelong. They haven't decided on his replacement, possibly O'Connor.

It's weird, but I don't feel nervous today. Lots of my friends have asked me if I am and don't seem to believe my response.

I am proud to be a member of this great club. It's wonderful that we get to play on the last day once again. How many players never get a real taste of September action, let alone play in a granny? Our young brigade have made it and I believe that if we play our best today, we are a legitimate chance of winning. That's all I can hope for as a supporter.

Our coaches are the best in the business. Our culture is too.

Overwhelmingly, I am grateful we are in this position. Go Swannies!

Really nervous today. I was lucky that I have seen all the GF's for the Swans since 2005, but this year due to heath reasons will be watching the boys hopefully win. It was be a great victory against all the odds if we win.

                            Go you fantastic swans !!

Beautifully put Mark26! I feel exactly the same!

Was nervous to the point of almost being ill last week. Just did not want to be the team that let Collingwood have a go at a Premiership!

Am nervous today but not as bad as last week and for different reasons. Our club has been magnificent again this year and given us so much to cheer about!

Just love our club and know we'll give it everything today!

                              BLOODS FOREVER!!

Could not ask for a better day weather wise. Bring it on - if we come to play we will rock the G and take home the cup. Atmosphere is already electric.

But whatever happens today, this team has been magnificent and I'll be proud!

                                Carn the mighty bloods!
