Geelong have just been too strong. I agree with Ludwig, it is not clear that we have played that bad or haven’t tried our best.

There were some dumb plays, and there has not been enough leads to provide outlets, but I would not say we have been insipid.

14 goals down is hard to take, but I haven’t seen our boys give up.

No it isn't. These guys are paid very well to play football and nothing else. The coaches of which there are a multitude of ex playing freeloaders. They have to be answerable to a performance like this, which means a few heads should roll.

Easy to say in hindsight but contested ball and clearances have been a weak point this season. We improved in the second half of the season but cruelly exposed by a side who is so dominant in these areas of the game

Not sure where we go from here, do we ride the improvement from Mills Warner Rowbottom and hopefully get some input from Sheldrick next year or look at boosting it with trading someone in (no idea who is available)

They are not!

Sydney performed in an insipid and embarrassing manner in a GF, again!

Nope, in 2014 I was quite critical. In 2016 I was ropable with the umpiring, which soured football for me to be honest. This time I’m older and more level-headed - Cats too good, Swans still young. End of story.
