There is no media reporting but it’s an open joke down there. From sly property deals to the local coffee shop that runs a permanent open tab for players that never gets called in, they’ve got the good life. I don’t get this from big footy, I get this from a Cats supporter who lives down there and laughs his head off at it.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

Indeed I have. I thought we were still in the game at halftime.
Historically teams that have been humiliated in the grand final don’t make the 8 the following year. As per the three examples I gave.
Why is it we were competitive in just about every other game we played this year?
But saying we'll miss the 8 and have a losing culture, I'm sorry, lacks gumptionComment

We have lost more grand finals than anyone else in the last 10 seasons. We haven’t won one in that time.
We won’t know about us making the 8, but happy for you to book mark me and tell me I’m wrong next year.
The coaches have a hell of a rebuilding job after falling away so badly.
Geelong may have been the better team for the year but we beat them last time we played and they are certainly not 81pts better than us.He ate more cheese, than time allowedComment

Yep, the smashed midfield that got us into a GF. A few tweaks and natural growth may be all it takes to get them to an unsmashable level. Cool your jets....Comment

I see a lot of people on social media saying that this will devastate Sydney for a long time but I think that's wrong I think with a team with so many young players so many players under 22 we moved from elimination in the first week last year to playing in the grand final this year I think we'll be around the mark for quite a while to come
Those who push this rather negative line of mental scarring are way off the mark.
The Bloods Culture is not a myth.Comment

This is exactly right. We all knew we were better than 7th last year and so did the players. To lose the way they did was devastating and yet they responded this year with a superb season and a GF appearance.

If Geelong is a 13 goal better side than us then there is no chance we even get to the final stage something is very wrong during GF week our team becomes mentally cooked or something.
It all just falls away so badly no idea if the Bulldogs game was 5 mins longer would of been another 6-7 goal loss they were full of run and piling it on.Comment
