He is uncontracted and probably out the door due to opportunities

I dont want to offload him, id play him in front of Harry and have Ramps lockdown

Harry has been vital and is playing the Nick Smith role brilliantly. One of the first picked.

Id play Ramps in that role, he doesnt have to play tall anymore.

Dyl, Lloyd, Blakey, Ollie all running it out

Re Silvagni, I don't want to criticise him heavily - because as others have noted, he's a whole hearted player (which stands out at Carlton).

I guess my query is, what is he? He's not a key forward - he's too small for that. He's not really a goal kicking third forward, a la what Jack Gunston was at his peak. He's not really a second ruck, despite having to play there. He's not really a tall key defender, which is what we actually need. He's not that mobile for an intercept style tall forward. I don't dislike him, I just think he's a bit in between as a player, and not really what we need. And I know some people will say he's listed the same height as Tom McCartin, but I'm unconvinced by that and besides - Tom has more speed and real reach to allow him to play taller.

As for Barass, let's see. I'd rather get someone without draft collateral involved if we can get Himmelberg as a free agent. But Barass is a very good player indeed.

Rampe at 33/34 on Cameron etc. No way.

I doubt he could cover any of those guys, that’s just wishful thinking

I think he will probably ask to leave, I can see him thinking he’s well down the pecking order and I’d
Say that’s pretty true Sheldrick has moved well passed him amd maybe Roberts had before his injury, hard to see where he fits in the side others have definitely moved passed him

He’s been given plenty of opportunities. If he had taken those he’d still be in the team. I still have high hopes for Dylan but if he leaves it won’t be because of mismanagement.

P.S. Harry has been fantastic lately and it would be nuts to change that. Ramps could do that job but why change it when they’ve both been playing well just so you can play an underperforming high draft pick instead.

The number of people who still have "high hopes" for Stephens reminds me why lotteries and pokies do so well.

Covers Rohan no probs and there is still no one quicker

Harry has been great but he is backup
Like Francis is this year and Harry was last year.

Dyl was a top rated mid with more upside, thats why I would play him.

And it allows Fox to play as a defender, better than Harry, just getting slotted in anywhere atm

It really doesn’t matter how highly rated you are when you’re 17. It gets you drafted but doesn’t mean anything 4 years later.

We have 1 too many defenders we are ruining Fox

Go back 2 months he was like prime Rampe, now he is getting taken out of the game by a MC with too many defenders. What the actual f8ck position is he playing ? Was our best defender before.

Id play him instead of Harry and have Dyl on the opposite side of Hayward running wide and deep

                              What was Papley doing?
So many errors last quarter and the start of this quarter have got the Tigers back in it. Only 4 points now. All the momentum with Richmond.

Rain has been falling since halftime. Francis as sub just didn't make sense.

Francis has been extremely poor tonight so far.
