I thought Francis was really good , still worries me when he kicks it , a bit like Mccartin they do tend to turn it over under limited pressure at times . But playing to his strengths he is a great mark and reader of the play .
Think Stephens done enough to start on the wing in place of Campbell

Francis played well but is a bit ordinary when the ball hits the deck. Good depth player.

I disagree. Francis and Melican are middling defenders. They are prone to playing the odd good game but overall a bit too slow and make poor skill errors with the ball.

P.McCartin is probably going to retire, and it's sad to say but Tom is in the high risk category now too. Rampe only has another year or two left and Gould unfortunately just isn't good enough.

Agree to an extent if it is a really bad one but Tom has a history of missing big chunks of a season, both this year and a few years back. Hope I'm wrong but I don't think I'm being unrealistic.

As I said, I really hope I'm wrong. Both the McCartin boys are crazy brave which means they don't protect themselves at all when in dangerous situations. Reckon it explains their vulnerability to regular heavy hits.

Aaron Francis was No. 6 pick in the draft. U18 All australian centre half forward. He has the talent.

Francis is definitely a confidence player. Thought he had confidence on Saturday and was marking ones he was dropping earlier in the year.

He’s potentially a replacement for Paddy as interceptor.

Pelican was playing best I’ve seen him play until he got injured. That’s the problem.

We definitely need to recruit at least one KPD … although Barass hasn’t exactly shown himself to be durable either.

Are you sure?
His playing records show that he's not missed more than 3 games in any season, and the only concussion reference I could find for Tom prior to this year was from preseason 2019.
