No player taker after the 2021 draft has played seniors yet, and we are still waiting on Rankin from the 2021 draft, although I'm not sure if and when his time will come.

Although I like HHK, I think Sheldrick, Roberts and Corey are ahead of him at this time. Maybe Konstanty will push his way up the ranks as well. I can see others getting AFL chances before HHK this year, but expect him to get some chances next year.

Although I like what I see with Hugo, I haven't pushed for his selection. I think he's on a good track and can foresee an AFL career ahead.

Why do you think HHK should be delisted? What don't you like about him?

According to Fox the Pies will still pay $250k odd of Grundy’s salary if he goes to a third club. I think he’ll be leaving for sure if they don’t pick him this week.

They also suggest Giants looking to offload Haynes and his $1m plus salary and may need to sweeten the deal with a decent draft pick. I know he’s 31 but could that be a win/win for us?

AFL trade news, rumours, whispers: Brodie Grundy contract details, Melbourne Demons, Collingwood Magpies, latest, Nick Haynes, salary dump deal, $1.2 million deal

Agreed. We have to plan for the next 3-5 years so we need younger. Besides, we have Sammy next year!????

If he gets another contract, he will be one of the great survivors. Would have to be on mimimum wage.

Reported very confidently that Barrass is not leaving West Coast.

I hope we are chasing a Bullies key forward, either one

First HH now Barass, if true that is very disappointing

That'd make for a serious logjam with Buller, Logan, Amarty, McLean (and maybe SamR) - should we stockpile or sell off some?

Hard to see what our KPD play is now that Barrass and HH are off the table. Don't need another KPF and while a ruck like Grundy would be handy a KPD is no.1 priority

I don't watch enough of GWS to know whether Haynes is over the hill, but if we could pick him up for say $500K on a 2 year contract, plus a reasonable draft pick our way, then I reckon he would be a good pick up. His average stats this year are: 17.5 disposals, 5.9 intercept possessions, 2.5 intercept marks, 17 games this year says he is durable. If we fancy ourselves as a contender for 2024 then he fits the bill. I don't think there are many of his type available. Would he be a better pick up than Aaron Francis?

If we draft a couple of KPD's then they will need a couple of years at least to be regulars in defence.

Reid, the great survivor, to play back?
