The Swans played hard and provided some entertaining football, but the Giants got lucky with a lot of things. Freakishly good kicking.

Ladhams played a great game. I don't think we have ruckman issues anymore.

We have a long way to go before we become serious contenders. Last year was a fluke. I would have preferred to win, but enjoyed the game nonetheless. It's not always about winning. I'm looking forward to seeing how we can improve.
And incredibly poor kicking from us. Those sodas in the 2nd quarter were telling.

I don’t want to hear Longmire defend any part of that performance.
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

If Rampe played we’d have won by five goals. He organises the backline.
Those who have the greatest power to hurt us are those we love.

Nevertheless, shouldn’t have been in that position.

He seemed to be tackled around the head. I thought Sheather was the one who would get the free. I reckon he, and we, got screwed on that one. Even a ball-up and the momentum of the game is totally different.

And if Sam Taylor would have played as well, we would have lost by a point.

And if someone, anyone, had tagged Green at the last throw in, we might have hung on

He’ll spout out the same old passionless monotone crap we’ve been hearing for the past 11 seasons

No doubt he’ll use the phrase undermanned

Yeah buddy or MacDonald would of been goalless he’s a beast. Both close games the opposition has kicked for goal flawlessly, we had our chances but couldn’t convert.

He dived on it and did not get it out. The rule is very clear. Hopefully he'll learn from it.

Completely failing to score from 30m out is remarkably costly.

The Giants field kicking is excellent, they seemed to hit more targets, it was a thrilling contest. Both teams had their moments .
Greene is a freak, he only needs the narrowest of openings.

He didn't do much, obviously, but I hope he gets a few more games to show us if he belongs.

He is a class above in the VFL so he needs time to adjust to the speed of the AFL.

We don't have much to lose playing him as we are going nowhere this year.
