And tactics too I would think. Didn’t seem to display any.
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

Another fourth quarter fade out, serious questions whether the team is fit enough to run out games.

I thought the free against Sheather was made with mal intent.Absolutely no prior.

We lost the game because we allowed GWS to waltz the ball out of our forward line. Our forward pressure is pathetic.
Again, why doesn't Campbell kick the bladder out of the footy in these crunch situations. It's the big flaw in his game. He should have been putting the ball on the top of the goal square.
I suspect we kicked the ball to the forward pocket late in the game to kill the footy, but our inability to do that was glaring.

He dragged it in, so it was there. Whereas Harry Himmeelberg dropped it twice at that throw in…,.
Nevertheless, shouldn’t have been in that position.

It's more like a comedy than a tragedy. We have a good draft hand this year, so it's better to finish down the ladder.

The Swans played hard and provided some entertaining football, but the Giants got lucky with a lot of things. Freakishly good kicking.

Ladhams played a great game. I don't think we have ruckman issues anymore.

We have a long way to go before we become serious contenders. Last year was a fluke. I would have preferred to win, but enjoyed the game nonetheless. It's not always about winning. I'm looking forward to seeing how we can improve.

Terrific game , 33 goals, the Giants never give up.

However, one positive in this embarrassing fade-out; Ladhams played a terrific match.

very disappointed I dpont know why i keep wartchimg. worst performance even the ones we got thrashed in. something needs to change I dont know if a new coach would inprove us still kicking too high for our fwds Bobby Pratt isnt playing, buddy has never been able to mark overhead. Its not as if we have anything in the reserves to help us improve. Sheldrake should have been put on immediately from the start and tell him to go like a bull which i assume he has done in the reserves.

                      And Parker did the same.

So glad we took the midfield bull Sheldrick over van Rooyen, another first round special by the Swans

Something has not been right since the huge fade out against Collingwood that should have seen us miss the Grand Final, in retrospect that may have been the better outcome.

Part of it is physical but mentally something has happened as well. No idea what it is but changes are needed.

Given the relative form and Collingwood being driven by missing out on a GF by a couple of minutes next week has a Geelong feel about it already.

                            Agreed Ludwig.

Would prefer if TFG didn’t kick the last goal again, however.

Sigh- I was going to write a long post to try to explain this- but there is no explanation. Sigh... Just bad football to lose when 4 goals ahead.

They just couldn’t miss. Crazy. Agree we should’ve found a way to hold on but they just couldn’t miss. It’s just not our year with many things seemingly conspiring against us. Elite sport relies on luck and we haven’t had it go our way this year.
