I don't think any of us were hopeful before the game, and frankly I think we've done OK. Free kick count is outrageous- and we couldn't kick straight. We certainly gave it a shake, and that's all you can do.

I do wonder if having the umpires penalising everything against us is having an impact on player confidence. How can you tackle if you think you are going to give away a free kick every time ? It must have an impact on player performance.

Hayden’s around the ground work has been really encouraging, I’ve enjoyed his game.

He showed that he can play as a Ruck Rover as per Bliczavs. Horse won't try that though
