I’m sure WC know where they’re at and say they’re backing their plan, but you can’t coach this effort and survive, and I say that as someone who likes Simpson.

ABC radio has just stated that the Eagles' biggest-ever loss is 142 points, and it's currently in play (as in, we could set a new record).
              I'll stand corrected, lol.

This is a competitive percentage for sides around us on our shiny new 11th place on the ladder. Geelong has a percentage of 114.2, Adelaide 116.5. We play both of these sides on the run home, starting with Geelong (at home) next week.

Great grinding win. Shows killer instinct which is needed.

So many good players to mention but I will mention Sheldrick - he looks very good as an inside mid.

Does anyone know why Mills was subbed off? Was he injured, or was that to give him a rest?

Not much to take out of that game aside from the feel good factor, the %, and hopefully a big confidence boost for the lads heading in to the back end of the season

Commendable that they played it out to the very last minute

Means naught if we lose to Geelong next week
