If there’s a silver lining to Collingwood winning it’s that the last shot on goal was by T.Greene and it didn’t register a point.
He ate more cheese, than time allowed

Toby lost that game= that last kick there was at least one giants player dead in front of goal free with space all around him- and Toby just wanted to be the hero- a selfish silly action from a player who should have known better

Just needed to go through for a point at least. GWS wasted a few shots when there was a man open..

Collingwood had excruciating losses in the 2019 & 2022 Prelims, I guess they were going to jag one of these toss of coin games
eventually. They make one additional mistake (a behind) and they win. Such a pity. I went to the game and the Collingwood
crowd is quite young. That surprised me a bit. We might be stuck with them for a while.

As you were at the game, I'd love to hear your opinion on the crowd reaction to the Welcome to Country, KT.

Idiotic Sam Newman, in a sad and pathetic attempt to get attention and make himself relevant, encouraged the crowd to boo during the ceremony.

Watching on TV, I couldn't hear any negative reaction to the WTC at all.

Twitter was going off last night about how everyone ignored Sam Newman and kept quiet. But, it would be good to get first hand evidence ktigers.

Sorry, we actually got there a bit late and missed the WTC. It's a pity news organisations keep reporting Newmans's comments.
If they stopped, he may well shrivel up and die.

No adverse reaction at all to the WTC from the the 90,000+ fans at the ground.

Shows how relevant and in-touch Newman is!

The shrivelling up part has started in earnest. The surgeons just can't keep up.Typically, though, it's Murdoch and the other trash media. Malcolm Turnbull was right to call it "angertainment".

Yeah, he's a funny little man. It's all macho bluster but whenever there is an opposing worldview he feels all threatened
and unravels very quickly and starts saying ugly and personal things. Life can't be much fun for people like him,
just forever sitting around stewing in their own juices.
I hadn't heard of Turnbull's expression before, but it's quite apt for the reporting of the Newman's of the world.

Rupert's was nicknamed 'commie Murdoch ' and used to have a bust of Lenin in his room, in his university days.

Extremists might change their spots, but they're always extremists.

He also supported Whitlam in 1972 election. Turned on everyone eventually if he didn't get what he wanted. 'Chairman Emeritus ' wll still interfere.
