I'm currently putting together a list of who wore what number in what year - at the moment back to 1982 (first year in Sydney) and when I've got that sorted I'll start tackling the South Melbourne days
At present I've got nearly all numbers sorted back to 1994, and starting too fill in gaps beyond that
Any help would be much appreciated
I'd like to get 1994-2004 completely finished ASAP - can anyone help with the following gaps?

      #18 in 1998
      #28 in 1995
      #39 in 2001
      #40 in 1995, 2001 and 2002
anyone you can remember with a number over 42 in that period

      Thanks

As soon as I hit the "Submit" button I remembered David McEwan wearing #18 in 1998

Just going off the info at AFL Tables that only covers post 1994 he was at over 60%. I'd love it if someone could find/post his career goals.behinds and games stats.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I think Cressa may have still worn 28 in 1995. Fixter, I think wore 40 in 2002. Ryan O'Keefe possibly 39 in 2001. Chapman wore 42 for a while.

Has everybody forgotton the great Bill Gunn who wore number 8 with great distinction. A great player and a beautiful kick. Bill was a key position player mainly playing at centre half forward

Pretty sure Cressa started in 8 in 1995 and Crouchy was drafted at the end of that year

I knew Scott Muller wore 39 for a year but couldn't remember if he was before or after ROK
I remember Parthenides being drafted, but had no idea what number he wore - thanks for Obst too - I could picture him but couldn't for the life of me remember his name

I've got Chappy as #42 in 1994 only

ok - my list is complete for numbers 1-42 between 1994 and 2004
What I'm looking for to complete this section is rookie list/supplementary list guys you remember who wore #43 or higher in the years 1995, 1996, 1999, 2000
I already have senior list guys like Paul Rouvray (45 - 1996) and Leon Higgins (47 - 1987-95) and I've managed to dig up some old footy records from 1997-98, so I have all those guys

I can't believe I can't find a footy record from 1996 lying around somewhere - I remember Kirky was on the supp list at the time - what number was he?

If I fill in those last few gaps, I'll have a complete list from 1994-2004

Can anyone help with the following names?
