Everyone?
So who was on Waite and who was LRT on?
Waite played all over the ground. He was down back, up forward (on LRT), up forward on someone else. All depended on the matchups when he went forward.
I can see how it would be easy for you to get confused. The days of one-on-one matchups all day are gone.
Originally posted by barry I believe it may be the opposite. Rewriting history to downgrade LRTs contribution, but the usual suspect.
Oh you are such a card... and of course I am the one confused...
So far your version is just a bit different to most other people's, but as Paul McCartney said (or was it Michael Jackson?) - you just keep dreamin'...

Not imaginary - to name some people whose view accorded more with mine that your's: Liz, Stellation, ScottH.
Who agrees that LRT didn't play on Waite?
I do find it amazing that because I have a view, which other people agree with, that LRT played on Waite, I must be biased against LRT. Very strange.

Originally posted by Ruckman Isn't exagerating and therefore misrepresenting Barry's point of view like this, trolling?
LOL - you accuse me of trolling!?!
Me: Looked to me like LRT was on Waite until late in the third quarter, and then switched onto Whitnall and then off him early in the fourth quarter.
barry: You must have been watching a different game.
How was I either exagerating or misrepresenting his view? Barry is asserting that what I suggested was not the case, hence I asked who did LRT play on and who else thought as I did.

Enough with the continued patronising tone thanks.
The days of one-on-one matchups all day are gone.
That's not true. Matchups are rotated and sometimes mixups and switches occur. However, particularly in the forward and back line, and tagging through the middle, you put the most appropriate players on opponents for large portions of the game.

Geez, Louise relax pal!
I didn't accuse you of trolling, I asked if you if that's what it was.

You asked "Who agrees that LRT didn't play on Waite?"
I don't reckon Barry said that LRT didn't play on Waite, and I also reckon you know perfectly well he didn't.
Hence my question.

Questions can be thinly disguised as accusations.

Have a look at the quote above - I say LRT was on Waite, barry says I was watching a different game. How would you interpret that?
Reckon all you like, but you have no idea what I think, particularly wrt barry as I often have few clues exactly where he is coming from - he seems to see things quite differently to most other people.
Also what does LOL stand for?
Laughing Out Loud.

So it would seem . . . in Red and White online, Mafia clans and Shakepearean plays.
"Indeed milud, he cometh near and casteth aspertions upon your eschucheon. Prithy the knave must undergo your challenge on the field of honour or be proclaimed a varlet"
Thanks for explaining LOL, I shall attempt a few acronyms too.

I'd interpret it as a LOB (Load of Bollocks), but I don't think I'd repond with a post that makes it look as though barry was claiming Waite never played on LRT (Lewis Robert-Thompson) in order to elicit a response from other RWO's (Red &WHite Onliners) that barry was a TDA (Total Dumb Arse).
I shall now POQ (Everyone knows that one) and do some work for a while, then speak to you all later.

You're catching on quickly Ruckman - I think TDA has a lot of promise on this forum.
God help us if LRT actually ever gets dropped - this forum will be lifeless.
It's normal, not just in Shakespeare, that certain questions written a certain way are taken as accusations. For example, if I said "Why did you say that, are you a pr*ck?" is obviously rude, but could be passed off as a question.
Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone else agreed with barry that LRT hardly played on Waite at all as that was not my recollection.
Feeling slightly poetic now, I'll say:
Some think LRT's a great back
Yet others believe he's a hack
It's important to be objective
But without the invective
and then choose your own last line:
And his future progress we'll track
Yet when he gets the ball it's a cack
In our wall of defence he's the crack
At least in his work he's not slack
A work ethic is something he does not lack
Of looking ungainly he has the knack
Yet when he gets the ball the spectators pack
Still, if like a duck it does quack...
