For a 4 goal 20 odd posession game I'm just about willing to forgive the absence of tackles. What a brilliant game.

I have a thread I expect to be dragged up one day but nobody seems to have noticed that I made a mistake (just one!!) in my RWO claims.

The "The good thing is that the Swans have not peaked yet" thread. Don't want to upset Diego by dragging it up. What is the hot crumpet thread? Love crumpet, me.

Geez I could have bet my balls that this thread would be raised from the dead. (How did I know that the lovely Ruda would be in there swinging?)

Problem is the bookie I frequent doesn't take small bets

Well done to those who like making predictions about players AFTER THE EVENT.

Brilliant effort from ND on Friday.

I still maintain ND has potential to be a class player, but is not currently in the same street as MOL.

Good on him for producing on Friday night. Now all I ask is that he does it again. That is what we got him for. If he doesn't do it on a regular basis, does the name Ted Hopkins mean anything to anyone.

He would if you were willing to spend more than a half unit.

Isn't that underselling him though Doctor? I think this year his consistency has improved and he's been getting a lot more of the ball but more significantly hitting targets which many others struggle to do. I don't think he's just a goalkicking machine. In fact on balance I don't think his output this year would be much below MOL if you factor in goals and possessions.

Davis is 33rd in the competition in terms of goals per game.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

First you were comparing Davis to Matthews, now you're comparing him to Ted Hopkins? Top marks for old VFL esoterica, very low marks for footy insight & graceful acknowledgment of an error of judgment.

Hopkins equals an unfair analogy, the blond top played 29 games and kicked 10 goals. Yes he helped win the Blues a granny, but barely played apart from that and was a bench specialist IIRC.
