Thinking about Kyle a bit more, I'm wondering if some clubs are seeing him more as a possible big bodied, inside midfielder? That is, he's largely been playing as a running half back, but I'm not sure if his disposal is high quality enough, for him to be successful at AFL level in that position? But he's solidly built and 188cm, who's good at winning contested ball. So, maybe there's a bright future for him, in a position where a lot of your possessions are either shovelling out handballs or hacking out long kicks in the general direction of the forward line? And that's possibly an area where we need a bit more depth?

I think you maybe right on this, and that is exactly what the Swans need. They will match whenever the bid comes and worry about the rest later. I am optimistic that they will get all three.

The final Rookie Me rankings have them in the 40-50 range. So will probably come into consideration, if we have some leftover points from our academy picks. I quite like what they say about Swadling.

ICYMI, our final Power Rankings were released in the annual Rookie Me Central Draft Guide, highlighting 50 of the nation's top prospects.

With a rugby league background, he probably likes to tackle, as well. Rowbottom mark II?

Twomey has Kyle going at 16 and Carmichael at 29. I think that is a bit high for Kyle. I think Carmichael will go first because teams today value great disposers and he is Gulden like. king didn't come into the equation but his 2025 was a bit ordinary and it doesn't surprise me he has slid. McNamara and Chamberlain are rookie selections. But I don't think we will have to make a bid until about 20 or even later. Our Academy boys are slipping down the order due to the Suns and F/S bids. After Kyle he has Murray at 18, Addinsall at 19, Ison at 22 as other F/S Academy picks. But there are many players who have been rated higher than Kyle in the draft and most pundits have Harry going at about early in the 20's. I know Twomey is the Draft Guru but this time I think he has the boy far too high. Hopefully anyway. To get all three it would be better if the first bid came in the 20's.
