I have a friend who is a very passionate Swans supporter (and cheer squad member) who has a white wine at the footy, so don't tar them all with the same brush!

Cher, there is a HUGE (read: massive) difference between a CS member (I've seen the cheersquad ... they're feral) and a chardy drinking, fish egg eating tosser up in the stands.
I did the corporate "white wine" (grapes were crushed yesterday) thing at the Syd/WC final last year ... NEVER AGAIN!! Sure the tickets and grog were free, but my hangover lasted days and days. (Someone said that it rained that night .... wouldn't be able to tell ya!)
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Were you at the same game? In last years semi , there was no "sitting" going on . For three quarters we were hiding under the seats in embarrasment and then in Q4 (oh, Frabjous day, the memory still thrills me and I believe again!) we were bouncing off the rafters.
I have never seen anyone eat cavair in the O'reilly stand . In fact I am pretty sure there is a law in New South Wales prohibiting the consumption of pretentious canapes in the great Tiger's memorial.

Coming from somebody who constantly has had trouble spelling the word 'league', you don't exactly present the picture of eloquence all the time dear Annie.

                But do continue.

Supermkaret is another one. (I work in the FMCG industry). I type 87 words a minute ... you can expect some typos's. My fingers type faster than my brain can think. I note you still haven't sent in your application for the position of my personal spell & grammar checker. The position is closing quickly, call this number 1300 799 753 for an application form.

Sorry folks ... by the cheersquad being "feral", I meant that those people KNOW how to make noise (a good thing!!) ... I thought we were talking about those who sit and clap politely and not open their mouths at the game ... the chardies.

Give me your email address and I'll send through my latest test results (taken about a year ago). I've been typing for a living for 26 years ... logic dictates that I would eventaully (sort of) master it, and be able to type fast.

Annie, Cow was just trying to be sarcastic, because of your prolific contribution to the RWO. He's afraid of any competition that might affect his post count.

Yes, I'd be shattered if we lost on Friday. I'd probably just mope around the house on Saturday to be honest.

But from a financial perspective I would more than likely be highly releaved.

Might end up going that weekend to Adelaide to see somebody special.

If we lose on Friday, the rest of my life in many respects starts the day after.
