Well, you would have probably noticed that Melbourne is as flat as a tack and all the roads are pretty straight.
Sydney is a bit hilly and the roads tend to curve a bit (well, it's a lot hilly and there are lots of nasty curves in the road).
Spida has to get used to that.
Spida mentioned that "Sydney's a lot bigger than Melbourne" ... OH FREAKIN DER.
He also mentioned that he's looking forward to being unrecognised in Sydney. Well try all you like son ... he's bloody nearly 7 foot tall (I'm five-one and a bit, so anything over five-two is nearly 7 foot to me) and he is covered in the worlds ugliest tatts. He's one of the most recognised AFL players in the country ... of course Sydney is going to know who he is, we just tend to leave the players to their business.
Again, footballers aren't as exciting as the starlets from Home & Away ... that's why you don't see much of them in the social pages here in Sydney. I realise that social pages wouldn't exist in Melbourne if it wasn't for the footballers, the WAGs and Lillian Frank.

Spida, IMO, from the interview, sounds like a little bush rat that's been picked up from the Under 18's from Upper Cumbuckta West, who's on his first trip to the big smoke. How old is he? 33? 34?
Do you get what I'm on about now, or do I need to go slower for you?
