Yes, that would be very good!
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Give him 3 years, he's young. Unless he plans on getting fatter. Does anyone know if he plans on getting fatter? That could ruin giving him 3 years alright. If he was getting fatter.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Make that Pendles and Thomas, straight swap!

Seriously, if Jolly really just wants out, and we have to trade, this is Sydney's chance to make a BIG trade and gain something from it, not trade for someone that makes us look pathetic, like when we took Scott Russell or Ryan O'Connor!!

I would give him 3 years FOR SURE but I have a big concern that he is very unhappy at the club.
Every game where we've won and the camera's are in the room he looks really po'd and when he's walking off the ground he's hasn't looked like he's enjoying himself after a win.
I hope he stays. I like his game - great player and very consistent.

I don't see how he can be unhappy, but I guess there's just no pleasing some people.
IF he's unhappy, IMHO, it's better for him to go.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

When you've lived outside of Sydney, you are aware that there's something better.

I agree Annie - life's too short to be somewhere you don't want to be. Hopefully there's no bad blood so he's in a position to help us with a reasonable trade.
As for Dale Thomas - no thanks - there's an article in the Hun about his haircut FFS. Not that he's not a gun but Eddie needs to love interest and he's been annointed.

Ummm... because he'd prefer to live in Melbourne with family and friends and because perhaps they prefer Melbourne to Sydney...?

Amazing that just less than three years ago there were very many people complaining about the Jolly deal and saying we wasted our first round pick on him, and now people want to offer him the world!

That's not amazing, he was basically an untried quality before.

its the end of the season for some and hence the rumour mill has started. we know that 3 clubs who never made the finals are in dire need of a decent ruckman and our man jolly is in the top 5 and seems he may be out of contract. we gave kirky 3 yrs , bbbh got a 5 , goodsey is here to career end and we even gave spida 2 yrs. problem giving jolly 3 yrs i think not .
the number 16 is going nowhere except driver avenue.
jolly is a stayer. but if anyone wants him he is worth a first round pick and something else added. decent ruckman help win premierships , take a look back at all the recent premiership sides and they had decent or very effective ruckman.

Since he'll be out of contract at the end of the season, does that leave us with less of a chance of demanding a good deal? Someone on the Collingwood board at BF mentioned Rusling as a possible trade. I think that'd be a fair swap, albeit with two entirely different players.

                                Rusling and their 1st rdp.
