Yes, but they wouldn't want to give up anything of value for him. If they're not going to part with Pendelbury, Shaw, Cloke, Clarke or Thomas for Judd, they won't do it for Jolly.

They'd probably offer Ryan Lonie and/or Alan Toovey or some other exciting package like that.

Had a think about it ... why would the budgies want such a good "influence" as Didak in their coffers? I thought they were trying to clean up their image.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

hahha, I didn't even think of that
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

After Ottens destroyed them on Friday in the ruck why would Collingwood even consider getting rid of Josh Fraser?

                This looks highly unlikely.

Maybe the same person who suggested Ablett was out on the W/E.

Changing the subject somewhat, maybe the first hour of this evening's Brownlow count willl remind those of his courters who have lists of 25 untouchable players just what they might miss out on!

I was thinking the same thing when Swan was shaping as a dark horse last night - and people still don't rate him other than a clone of Luke Ablett!

One thing for sure, his trade value's gone up now. We'll need to offer O'Keefe to get him

I dont think anyone is suggesting Ablett is a better player. But they are a similar type of player, and overall not a deficiency anyone would suggest we have.

To trade a top pick to plug a hole that isnt there would be silly.

I think Ablett can continue to improve with a full preseason, etc.

I think you sell him short.

I can't really see how they are similar. Swan is far more in the mould of a Cresswell-type player. Runs around making space, being a link man and gathering possessions. Nothing flashy but generally very effective. I would have thought he'd suit us pretty well and is far superior to Ablett in nearly every aspect of the game.
