Here's what I would like to see. I know you're not supposed to have too many new faces, but this is a fantasy forum so I can say what I want.

I would like to see young players given the opportunity to do a better job than Fosdike, Bolton, Richards, Mathews, Crouch, McVeigh and Bevan.

I like that list a lot!!

I'd keep Mathews in as an alternate fwd. Whilst his days as a runner and tagger are gone, I still think he has potential to play fwd and kick a few.

I agree with you guys wholeheartedly on both counts a) wanting something like this to eventuate and b) the realisation that it probably won't.

Main points i liked about this team:
Fosdike coming off the bench (important in this role)
Mal in the back kicks to kennelly on a wing who kicks to a leading Davis or McVeigh (can just see it now)

Main point I didn't like:
Brennan (prefer Richards)

Not unreasonable - six of one, half a dozen of the other. I reckon Brennan may be more useful against smaller opponents.

Over time I'd also like to see Barlow transition into a full back role to replace Barry.

I want Barlow to be the next Goodes (protege!) But can see why he be useful down back. I just think with his athleticism it should be used all around the ground and not limited to FB.
