If the deal is Sceinder for L Fisher then I am all for it.

Fisher replaces Beven (to be delsited) in our side as the small close checking defender but with more football smarts and good disposal skills.

Except that Bevan is not about to get delisted. (And I don't think he should be or deserves to be.)

And those who are fans of Brennan are unlikely to be happy about a mooted trade for Fisher. I think it would signal a decision not to offer Brennan a spot for next season.

I'm having a senior's moment, so ned some clarification.

Schneider still has 2 years left to run on his contract so that would have to be taken into consideration when it comes to a trade. Is the Saints 2nd round draft pick worth that?

Also by trading Schneider for a 2nd round draft pick, would that basically relieve the salary cap for those two years?

ETA: I'm not a huge fan of BF, but someone over there is saying that Fisher failed his fitness test so it would be a draft pick for both Schneider and Dempster.
