Groundhog day.
WCE owe Cousins a duty of care. That Cousins has chosen to do his own thing in LA does not (on the evidence of the article) indicate any breach of that duty of care by the WCE. That they owe him a duty of care does not mean that they are liable for any injury/damage etc that he suffers over which they have no control. It would be a long bow to draw to suggest that Benny's choice not to attend rehab is anyway attributable to them. A duty of care is not a duty to wrap in cotton wool, it is a duty not to act in a way that will cause others damage. If they suffer damage, but it was not caused (or contributed to) by the person with the duty of care, then the duty of care has not been breached and the person holding the duty is not liable to compensate.Comment

Its a ploy to get the media off the scent...He could be receiving treatment elsewhere and in peace without the media being camped outside the gates. Its LA - anything is possible. However, if he really is missing, you have to hope that he is safe and you would have to feel for his family.I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
