Don't know if it tastes quite like crap MMG, but it is leaving a sour taste in my mouth!!

Ironically, it probably now will be Demetriou who will decide whether to punish the coach for what appears to be ? at worst ? an ill-timed joke. Because Adrian Anderson, who laid the charge, is overseas on a study tour.
      From Caro's article.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Dimwitriou created this entire mess by creating and forcing the clubs to play in a joke of a pre season comp, (which all clubs treat as a joke) his failure to do anything about tanking in the season proper and his decision to make an example of Roos and the Swans. His well deserved reward this week is having the football media (less toerag Sheehan) heap bovine droppings on his head from a great height. For that he will probably blame Roos and the Swans.

I can only hope that in the washup, something positive is done about these two issues.

If there must be a second cup to be won, what about a return of the knockout comp for the also rans at the end of the season - remember the old electric light games at the Lake Oval?

I guess the club has to be careful so as not to look like "they are out to get us" with their public statements - the more the club just goes along with the attitude that it really isnt a big deal, act calmly and professionsally - it will prove to the world what Drama queens Andy & Ade are as they really are making such a mountian out of something so trivial. Sure if it was the main H & A season then it may be different but then Carlton & richmond would have be investigated for their lousy laughable performances. It seems all that the two "A's" are worried about is keeping NAB happy - they dont care what the coaches and the players think. Also, with the limited interchange rule that Ade is wanting to implement, cant the players assocation come up with something on the O H & S side to prove that he is contributing to a higher number of injuries because of fewer breaks ?

We know Dimwit's background in football - second rate struggler in a struggling team at the time.

But what about Little Adie, anyone have any knowledge of his background.

Has he ever played a game, at any level?

Would be good to know - as this clown is likely to take over from Dimwit.

I believe Roosey should look into running for the big chair (after he finishes at the Swans)- at least he knows about the game.

I have asked that question before - know one seems to know - and considering I've been following this game my entire life (over 40 years) I have never heard the name Adrian Anderson mentioned in any team of note, yet he is in charge of rule changes and anything else that takes his fancy - it is concerrning. I had hoped that Mike Fitzpatrick would have pulled the big "A's" into line as he's quite a smart bloke (and was a bit of awright in his playing days along with Mark McClure - but I digress! ) - but I've yet to see him pull in their reins.

Its said that the integrity of the NAB Cup is important, partly because people bet on it. Well there is a perfect defence....how many people would have bet on Sydney to win. No-one in their right mind would bet on Sydney to win a NAB Cup game.

Roosy was only protecting the finances of those who had bet on Hawthorn...think of all the families that could not afford to eat or would lose their homes if McVeigh had kicked a match-winning goal

As I said long ago, it's not AA's lack of direct football experience that is the problem - it's the fact that he's a complete idiot.
