He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

He still needs to concentrate on the ball and stop looking to the ump for no existant frees.

There were a few times in the first quarter when Hall threatened to turn into the Incredible Hulk (RAGE BUILDING>>>!!!), but Goodes and Kirk got to him and talked him down.

There was one instance early on where he started to admonish players further upfield for not kicking to his lead. Goodes got to him and told him (in a somewhat agressive way - handsignals included) to go around, lead again and not be a tool.

Everytime he did something good or bad Kirk was in his ear.

Great leadership, great teamwork. We all saw the results.
Yeah, it was great leadership shown by Kirk in particular and the leadership group in general. Iy was also good to see the team dynamic when, as a direct result of Baz's play, there was a goal scored, so many of his team mates ran to him to acknowledge his contribution.

Probably because they all owed him an apology after the game against Geelong...

Kirk, Goodes and Jude slugged their guts out to get us back into the game and this big log goes and undoes all of their hard work with yet another moment of sheer stupidity.

How much longer are the coaching staff going to tolerate this @@@@? Enough is enough FFS.

He has to go. I don't care if he's a "key player". Our season is done and having a bad tempered, over the hill 31 year old in the side really isn't beneficial at this point in time.

FFS, he still kicked 2 goals. Yes, he did something stupid (though the second 50 was absolute bull@@@@). I'm as pissed off about that as the next bloke. But it's not like it's the first time it's happened. He's still a good player, and he adds more to the team than he takes away.

Bul@@@@, Hall gets cruelled by the umpires week in and week out. The first free should have gone to him, there was never a 50 in the first or the second. That he does not snap completely and Staker and ump is a credit to him.

                              I disagree.

Can anybody honestly deny that he conceded 3 50m penalties at least partly due to his reputation?

                              We got shafted IMHO.

I couldn't give a @@@@ about how the umpires treat him. He's a senior player and is supposed to be setting an example. What he did in the final quarter is not on.
