We should start a riot if he is dropped for the finals next week.

      I agree.

Even if he is not named in the team, but still plays it's a great idea.
He ate more cheese, than time allowed

Now why would you even suggest they might drop a player who just kicked 4 goals when our goal kicking options in the 2nd half of the season have been very limited.

Why do people question his fitness? He is not playing midfield, he is playing up forward and kicking goals!!!!! Whatever level of fitness he is at he is doing a darn good job.

You should be able to muster plenty of troops to help, not much for your neighbours to do now the finals have started.

Maybe in looks and kicking ability, but he is a lot more physical and confrontational than Davo will ever be. Some of his chasing and tackling last night was very impressive.

I watched the 1st qtr with my 3 and half year old son who is turning into a footy tragic like his old man and when Veza laid the tackle and got holding the ball he yelled out Vezaman......got him. After that everytime Veza went near the ball my son would say there's Vesaman dad.........crowd puller even for a 3 and a half year old. So to me he will be nicknamed the Vesaman.
Looks a talent but jeez he looks tiny.

Did anyone else pick up Ablett grab his hamstring late in the game He also spent the end of the game on the bench, for me he has done his hammy and his season is over.

Melcho looks to have his zing back also

I didn't see the game at all, but I did notice Ablett got 9 touches in the first quarter, but only four more for the rest of the game and none in the last. But %70 of game time. :S

                      Not unusual for Ablett.

Listening to 3AW on web and Miss Caro was at the game for some reason and she mention Ves on the show today saying he kicked goals and "he was very happy about himself. He kicked a goal and held and his has as if the almighty was there"".

                        It was something like that.

I laughed when Ves kicked over BBH's head for the Jack goal. He then ran straight up to BBBH and rubbed his hand over Bazza's head. Lots of style.

Sorry Nick but Vez has nailed your coffin closed.

A possible rising star nomination this week?

Who are his rivals for this round?
Scott Selwood 14 poss 8 marks 5 tackles

                                Anyone else?

BTW, I loved his pass from defence to Barry Hall on the Brewongle wing, which ended with Malceski kicking a looooong goal.
