This could be very embarrassing.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

A few things to consider
- The wet weather won't help the attendance
- Why were the ticket prices more expensive than both Melbourne and Adelaide?
- Lack of advertising of any sort TV, print, radio.
- A need, in the future, to consider where to play finals based on the opponent.Comment

Maybe this will jolt AFL House into reality about a team in Western Sydney?

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

The funny thing is, our 'core' support is supposed to be 20-25,000, yet we haven't even reached that yet! What's going on?
It's a real shame, because the match is shaping up as a fascinating contest despite our poor form and North's unexpected hiding against Port last week, and should be worthy of a much bigger crowd.
I'd love to see it played at the SCG too, but I have no problems with the decision to play it at ANZ, as we did get over 60,000 to a final against Freo of all teams a couple of years ago! I doubt we would have gotten anywhere near that this week, but it just seems like a wasted opportunity to grow the game. Just needed some sensible promotion. Thanks for nothing AFL.Comment

There will not be many coming from out West either. There is little point including free public transport with the tickets if said transport is non existant. Yet again, City Rail is ripping up the Western Line between St Marys and Granville. They have put in a hideous bus timetable, if lucky it might get us home in time to go to work on Monday. I feel like billing the AFL for fuel and parking, because we are left with no option other than to drive.Pay peanuts get monkeysComment

I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.Comment

But it doesn't seem to matter what me or any fan of AFL wants... its all about the money.Comment

I just saw an ad for the game (as in buying tickets) during Ch 10's news. Too little too late, especially when people look outside and see this awful weather.Occupational hazards:
