Seems more likely to stay going by reports today, ahhh the joys of the upcoming trade week.

If ROK did decide to head to Melb, only trade I would want to see is Kerr coming to Sydney.

Thats right lest not panic. Thank christ he didn't get Lance Thompson as his manager. ROK has only just got a manager and wants to maximise the payments in his last contract. Good luck to him. He also followed the team his dad played for so deep down he's good kid.

        Agree 100%.

We still need to get max. trade value out of him though.

So how is O'Keefe and his manager 'testing the marketplace' any different from Nick Davis' manager doing the same thing?

            The Age:
"Ryan is considering all of his options at the moment and that includes meeting with a number of other clubs, but it would be wrong to say he has walked out on the Sydney Swans," his manager Tom Petroro said.

Based on your previous comments, O'Keefe is in breach of his contract and should be shown the door.

I'm disappointed he wants to leave, but this is the best year for him to do it. We haven't really lost any other key senior players, the draft is uncompromised and the side is not expected to challenge for the flag (going by early betting, we aren't expected to make the finals).

Still, we haven't had a great record in recent drafts, so I wonder how much value a moderately early pick will have.

What's worse, he has admitted to following the Bulldogs as a kid. I don't think we want him - clearly poison around the team.

Do you reckon he got paid this week? he does not have a contract for next season. It is highly unlikely that he is currently unemployed.

In case you didn't know, he's also self-employed in an advertising/promotional business with his wife.

Ten News just reported ROK has "requested a trade home to Victoria".

Pffft, he's just using his advertising/promotional contacts to get the word out.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

So, do you think that he is currently not contracted to an AFL club?

Ten are guessing - like the rest of us. Just sounds like normal silly season stuff to me.

My money would be on the club offering O'Keefe a 4 year deal and him then signing on.

If we go by the wording "Out Of Contract" then the answer would logically be no. However, that doesn't mean a secret deal hasn't already been signed and delivered.
