He's a beautiful long kick. We could use him like the 'Dogs use Gilbee.

I can't believe anyone is okay with the idea of us taking Wheatley.

I'm not feeling very confident about all of this now.

Our pick 11 for Lovett. Then we have to waut and see if he implodes in the next few years.

          Second pick for wheatley.

Are we rebuilding or proping up a side so that we make the 8, get knocked out in Wk 1 or 2 if we're lucky and then watch Roo's go on about another successful year - We've made the finals.

First of all, we have pick 12 if I'm not mistaken.

Secondly, where did you get the idea we'd trade it for Lovett? That's ridiculous.

Have a lie down Bas, we won't be trading away pick 12 for Lovett.

Hell, ROK only just falls into the 10 to 16 range but probably with a young KP forward to sweeten the deal.

Lovett is about to be delisted by SnDon (who will have to pay out his salary) so our second pick (30?) will be enough to secure him.

Outside of that we will go to the draft with pick 12 and probably pick 16 from Hawthorn and either Boyle or Dowler.

agree here, we wont be trading pick 12 unless we remain in the first round.

I think carlton are making a serious error by walking away from the trade for okeefe. they will want to win a flag while fevola and judd are at the club.

hawthorn seem the likely destination at the moment, a successful club who know they importance of getting good players into the club ... carlton seem to think they are going to have some 10 year dynasty with all there no.1 picks.

okeefe to hawthorn for taylor and a second round pick ... maybe first round and boyle. something like that will be done. we wont let him go for nothing. carlton will have to wait another year to make the 8 and then they will struggle to keep all their young players with the new teams coming in. Maybe taylor and pick 16 for okeefe and 30. we might on trade pick 16 for lovett and essendon's 3rd round pick.

If as stated the Doggies are keen on Boyle, then it's going to be interesting to see what they put up directly for him.

I can't see the Hawks trading both Boyle and Dowler, and ROK for pick 16 only is a little on the skinny side.

We may need to get the Dog's involved on the deal.

Is there anything in the Wheatley deal? As far as I can tell, it's just some peanut on BF making something up.
