Why not Cousins?

I really, really think we should go for him. He would blossom in Sydney - perfect city, perfect club and a great leader or two to help him out. He'd be trying his heart out this time around... I don't understand why we can't grab someone like him for a coupla years... and please, please STOP St bloody Kilda from getting any more help!!!!

Our club isn't in a premiership window right now. We are old and slow. The list needs to be freshened up with youth so we can start building towards having another crack at a flag in a few years. Ben Cousins is 31 and is too old to be included in that.

Cousins is exactly the kind of player we need but we already have four players over 31.

I think the coaches might feel they have their hands full with BBBH.

I get the impression that Roos and MBH just don't like Cuz anyway. Remember his 'comeback' game against us in 2007 when he got 39 possessions and Roos didn't rate him at all?

If the Pies passed on him there must be some thing up.

He had a PI following him around in Perth who was hired by the Pies.They have spoken to the cheif of police in Victoria and most likely she said he was to high a risk.Also the Pies have had to much troublwe with players in the last few years so why would they really want another trouble maker.

Put a clause in his contract stating that if he stuffs up, he's out. Simple. Surely any club taking him on will put some sort of restrictions on him.

The clubs might be able too but the AFLPA wants Cuz to get the same treatment as every one else,3 strike policy.IMHO he should get 1 chance and 1 chance only.

I dont think they are rumors,Christine Nixon hasnt as yet come on radio to say thay are a lie.

dont know how many times this has been raised, but its been done to death. I reckon he will prove to be past it anyway, and I still reckon he is far from right in the head. Good luck to whoever gets him, but Ill be glad its not us.
