I wouldnt be surprised if Sydney were to grab him in the draft if he was available.Occupational hazards:

We should draft him with our last pick. Nothing to lose.
BRAZILIAN BEN is our man. Just get BBH to keep him in line. If he doesn't work out all we have lost is pick 61. Our leadership group would control things and he really needs to get back to foooty for a chance in life.In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.Comment

I think That The Swans should give Ben Cousins a GO. Give him 12 month Contract with a ZERO tolerance to drugs, with a 2year option. Ben is going to be well tested by the A.F.L. If he "plays up" he is gone. I think he would improve our midfield. He is a ball magnet and knows how to kick a ball.
Give the bloke a "fair go" and he might help us to another Premiership.
You just never know.
Just the thoughts of this Old. Blood!

No. No chances, no breaks.
Here's my latest issue ...
Either the "ex"-junkie or his pimp mentioned that "AFL is a part of the rehabilitation" - i.e. (as I understand), they are factoring AFL into his rehab program to get over his self-confessed addiction to drugs.
Now, if he doesn't get picked up at the top level - which is what he wants, and realistically, a few clubs have looked into it and have said outright - no, what happens to his rehab programme? I hope he has a Plan B.
Also, I think that Voss has even less experience than Lyons in trying to handle a basket case and the media hype that goes with it. Voss has marbles for brains if he thinks he's going to be able to handle the "ex"-junkie and debut as a coach with no experience. Really, the media are going to chew him up enough as it is, without the extra crap.
And ... the swans have already said no, no, no.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
