fact of the matter is, he plays footy..
these guys who he knows have been childhood friends..he cannot control what they do..i am sure that we have friends who aren't exactly angels.
the fact of the matter is cousins is the scapegoat for 60% of the players, we would be kidding ourselves if you think that he and only those numbers of positives indicated in the AFL are the only ones using.
i think we always forget, he never tested positive, he admitted a problem. sure it took him a while to admit, but isn't that the first step an addict has to face.
at the end of the day clubs have to decide on whether he fits into the side or not, depending on their needs.
we need a dynamic outside midfielder, we dont have one and the ones with potential are still 2 or so yrs away..so cousins fits into our needs from a playing point of view, an his preparation for footy would be a great learning curve for our upcoming midfielders.
