    G'day Kanga!!!

Paid up supporters are one thing. Paid members turning up to games however ...
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Something I have always wondered is how much membership costs vary between clubs?

I do know that memberships in the NRL are significantly cheaper than a swans membership but have never checked in comparison to other AFL clubs.

Surely this would also influence membership numbers in tough times.

Not for Norf members ... they can afford to pay their memberships and not turn up to games (or finals).

Kanga ... how much is membership over at the bushrats for a "premium" type package. I'd look it up myself, but I don't want to add to the bushrat's website counter.

Hi Annie, happy new year to you...

19,000 wasn't it to a Swans home final? Seems you have as many problems as North did with attendances!

                  It was 19,127

19,125 of them were swans members ... only the die hards ventured out on such a crappy, crappy day/night.

Besides, we won that game. That's the most important bit don't you think? The people who never turned up are still regretting it.

Without a doubt winning is the most important thing. Congrats on that - it was much deserved. 19,127 is still a poor turnout - there is no doubt that neither club can be pleased with that attendance.

Bring on round one so we have something much more interesting to discuss!

I reckon a few SMSs and emails from the team is a little overvalued!

                        Reckon!!!

Sounds like our "Sydneysider" or "Redback" package - albeit a good $300-odd cheaper.

Thanks for that. You're a trooper!

No regrets whatsoever. Did I miss something? With money at a premium at that time, it was a very good financial decision.
I'd say money other Swans supporters thought the same.

Of course you missed something - your team won a final playing sizzling football and the atmosphere at the ground was brilliant. That's something I thought people joined football clubs for.

Pretty much what Ive said about some of Sydney Support we have.
Bas has just explained it in his whole quote .

Did you miss something ???? You did Bas , an awesome win , in great atmosphere , sitting in the pissing down rain , freezing ya tits off , watching the boys come back from behind and win by 5 odd goals and we got another week deeper in the finals . What footy is all about.

Thats whats you missed Bas and then you missed us getting beaten by a side that gave Geelong a run the following week as well, though you probably werent interested by then
