I catch public transport to the games now!!

I saw McHack coming out after all the punters had gone home (it really helps missing that last bus to Central). I told him that because of his fantastic playing, I now get nowhere in a hurry, said that it's good to finally see why he came to us as a #5 pick, and told him that I thought he is a much better player now than his brother. He was pretty chuffed to hear that!!

Got stacks of signatures on my hat today ... Jolly, B1, Macca, Cheese, Bevo (who is quite cute), Teddy, gave MickyO a hug, and had the pleasure of feeling up duck's butt. (Man, that thing is made of cement!!)

All in all ... tops day!

Not too sure about the doggies. They played really well against the cats.
If they play next week like they played today, we're gunna be in for a show.

Hi AnnieH, looks like you had a big After Game! I was too exhausted to do more than go home. And Watch a replay. Happy me. Oh and congratulations on ducks butt. Been trying but no success.

I was watching his game closely this week to see if he could actually gives us something that no one else in the 2nds could. Surely he could be a 'fair weather' player, playing well when the rest of the team does. It didn't appear to be that way though, maybe he did some things off the ball but I can't imagine that to be the case.

Again I thought Jolly had an awesome game. Surely other teams must be seriously worried about him when they play us.

Goodes also had a great game, along with Magic and McVeigh. My "McVeigh for Brownlow" tag (which has been there for about 4 1/2 years now) may even become a reality.

What a treat, the best I've seen us play for years! The back line were absolutely awesome but Jolly, Ted & Monty were my picks. Two standout highlights (besides the obvious speccies): loose ball on members flank with Tredrea leading, but Shaw decides he's gonna be first there, puts on the jets, gets away a good handball under pressure and a goal results. Last qr, 50 pts up and Cornes about to take it away out of our frwd line - Monty decides otherwise and desperately gets a hand on Cornes and forces him to kick OOF - a goal results.Fantastic efforts, marvelous desperation - keep that up and who knows were we might finish this year?

God I hope so too, got on at the star of the season, I have $5 on at $501 for him to win, and $5 at $126 for him to finish 2nd or 3rd.

As for the game, missed it completely but listened to the radio and it sounded awsome,(had stuff to do around the house), finished up to get to the pub for the last quarter. I have this amazing ability to miss certain Sunday afternoon games which I can only listen to on the radio, this one, the game against the tigers at the SCG last year, the game against the blues at Etihad last year and the game against the bombers at ANZ last year.

'Cute, with a pretty haircut' is what I thought I heard.

Seriously though, Kirk also had an outstanding game, we can just overlook the run and bounce he attempted. Kicked two great goals and they weren't too wobbly.

Although I thought Bevo would be taller ... he's not much taller than me (which, by the way, is short).

'Sometimes it's just your day' was what my mate and I both said to each other during the second quarter.

After blowing them off the park in the first quarter, the second quarter gave us Goodes and MOL taking marks whilst lying on the ground after slipping over.

The ball just landed in their arms as if ordained.

Anybody else get that same feeling?

There was a kick going to "left of screen" (4th q I think), went over the head of the swans player, with 2 port players about to pounce on the ball.
The ball bounced favourably for the swan, who got the ball.
