Bradshaw a Swan

As for Johnston, well he hardly has a right to pout about not getting game time when he's been injured and is yet to prove anything. Somehow I think the kid will just put in the hard yards and do his best to get into the side, not throw a bitch fit because he's not given a game when he's done nothing at reserve level.
Do you think we drafted two spoilt brats or something?Comment

Why wouldn't White get adequate game time? He'll be playing along side Bradshaw. What more does he want? To be the only forward we have?

Based on what Roos has been saying, Goodes will play CHF. I think MOL was actually playing more of a forward pocket last year rather than a key position FF, whereas Bradshaw is unambiguously a KPP FF. White only started playing well last year when he was given a set position as FF. What happens now? Forward pockets and flankers are not traditionally 6'5".
As for what and who we drafted, I have no idea. Do you?He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.Comment

I know we drafted two players that need to earn their stripes, one is doing a fine job of that already and I don't think having two big forwards is impossible to manage.
Goodes will still get a run in the midfield, he wont be a true CHF all season so we still essentially have two main key forwards in the F50. As for my last comment, obviously I don't know much about the attitude of White but if he's going to walk out because he's not the only FF than I'd be very suprised and shocked at the way he handled it.
Having said that, I believe JW will stay and become one of the top 5 forwards in the game, taking over perfectly when Bradshaw retires.Comment

I don't think that we are going to see a conventional set up next year, that's for sure. And I, along with others, am struggling ALREADY to contain the anticipation.
I also don't know what we've drafted, but I daresay that Johnston will realise that holding down a spot in the Swans forward line is something he'll have to earn, as Jesse has done, over a couple of seasons.
There always seems to be so many RWOers who have little trust in the coaching and recruiting staff of the club. I would suggest, even if you can't see it for yourselves, have a little faith that they know how things may work just a little better than you.Comment

Couldn't he start the preseason like tomorrow?
Enrol the kids, secure housing, get his seniors card (sorry, joke).
I fully support 99.90% of what has been said on this thread.

I am not suggesting it is not going to work. Nor am I suggesting our two young forwards are brats. Just trying to look at the situation from a different angle.
I hate the 'groupthink' mentality. He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.Comment

Why is Bradshaw unambiguously a full forward and only a full forward? Virtually the same height as Mickey O, many of the same characteristics with the only key difference being more mobility and speed than Mickey had in the last few years......Comment

And perhaps a touch more accurate. He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

YES!!!!!, not sure what it is exactly, but I am willing to bet, from memory, that he is an unbelievable accurate kick for goal. Actually just on that matter of accurate kick for goal, one thing I noticed this year is Goodesy being a very accurate kick for goal this season. Anyone else notice that, or is just me?Comment
