I'd love to see this game start as a shoot-out and see how we go. I know we'll lock down at some stage (probably from the start) but we're developing a young skilled list that can play the fast free flow attack game.

After our narrow loss last Sunday I'm actually feeling a little bit more confident about this game. If we can just minimise the mistakes, the endeavour is certainly there.

this is the difference between last week's loss and the 3 before that - this (and hanners, mummy and rohan) are the reasons I'm not so disppointed about the loss against hawthorn and I'm a lot more optimistic for this week!!

You blokes can't have watched much of Lake or Scarlett - they're just about the most important players in two of the best teams going around. These aren't the full backs your grandpa knew - these are bona fide match winners. I'd have one of those in a heart beat!

Couldn't agree more on those two being guns but I don't think Rohan is (or will be) anything like either of them.

I was hoping and still am hoping that reg would end up being exactly like scarlett.

Or end up like Leo ,who confused the opposition because he didn't know where he was going either. Miss his zig zag out of defense and run. If Grundy turns out as good as him i will be happy.Scarlett is a freak,he just destroys us every time we play against Geelong.

Personally I'm sick of all the reasonable, rational thought being expressed here!!!! That said, I am serious when I say I want to see Shaw in the reserves till he remembers how to have a positive impact on a game AND stops his hideous errors. If he can't SAYONARA.

Remember you all nearly killed me when I suggested reserves time for Ted in the middle of last year.

Also would really like to see Jude and ROK given a forced holiday. We are not going to win this year so get them back to full health and ready for our next premiership.....they need two weeks each on a sun lounger they're recent form is just killing me - so far from their best.

Have watched the whole game and stand by my suggestion of Goodesy in the reserves. He's been down on form before, but badly needs a jolt. Nothing has changed in his play or his demeanour and it's just not good enough from a player of his talent.

Lets add LRT, Grundy, Mattner, Mal et all to your list of "For the reserves" and play top ups on Sunday just like the ressies!

Sheeze Sharpy. YOu seem to forget the number of mistakes Leo made....soooo many. Its the nature and pressure of the game that creates the problems the defense have to deal with. Not saying everything is hunky, only one team has a Lake and one has a Scarlett (Scarlett Lake, hehehe, ) and we are not one of them. Dumping one player (one....) is not going to make much of a difference, and Shaw now has to cover for Tadgh as well, creating some run out of defense. Not much choice. He can be frustrating but its not due to lack of effort, but blimey, I am yelling at Goodsey at present ! he is driving me nuts.

Throw in Kirky & do it one week each & you make a valid point...it will do them & the team good.
