What a great game - first thing we did when we got home (after of course feeding two demanding cats) was to set up the TiVo to Jetta's goal. Even the commentators on OneHD were on his side and overjoyed. It was great to be in the crowd for that, as well as seeing the Swans firing on all pistons again at last. And watching the loud Hawthorn supporters sitting around us go from the usual opposition fans' constant hateful heckling of Goodes (what IS it with that?) to turning on their own players to slinking out with 10 minutes or so left to the game.

My horrible and probably eternal regret is, we booked for dinner with my partner's co-workers so we couldn't stay for the Members' Function (with the whole team showing up) - I'd love to be in the room when Jetta walks in; it's bound to be a madhouse.

That was a fantastic game, big congratulations to the whole team, they went out there to play for each other and it really showed, I also loved Kirky's
happy little dance at the end

Awesome game to be at. No passengers out there this week which was great to see. And Jetta - need that post-goal celebration - fantastic!

Even without his goal, he played a game today that is deserved of a spot in the seniors. For several weeks now I have questioned the effectiveness of Jetta's disposals (especially when under pressure) but some of his kicks into the forward line today were pin point perfect. He also seemed to read the play better than I've seen him do so before.

I've seen some amazing things in my time as a footy fan - but the sight of 30,000 standing as one to applaud Jettas first league goal after one of the biggest roars heard at the SCG is right up there with the most amazing. It was very beautiful icing after a wonderful effort by the boys. Not only the first half but when the Hawks challenged us we delved deep to fend them off and were able to steady and win comfortably. Clearly the most enjoyable game this year.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

              Very very good day.
Hats off to the boys. When the heat was well and truly on in the 3rd Qtr the boys didn't lose heart and hope and kept pushing. Was really proud red and white person today.
Plus we have the awesomest fans EVER.

We were brilliant today no question. The noise didn't let up for the entire match.

                    Ditto LN!

Today was an ULTRA positive day. You'd be a hard man or woman to not be happy with today. Impressive stuff That Jetta chant was a look to the future, the exciting thing is that after his first goal he gets to go home to WA facing Freo next week, hopefully full of confidence along with the rest of the team.

Great game, best win for the year so far and Jetta's first goal a memorable moment. A top day at the footy.

Now if Brisbane can beat West Coast tonight it will be a perfect weekend of footy.

Turn it up whilst it was great today, I remember being at the Sydney vs North final with just 19k at ANZ and the atmosphere was better than many games at the SCG. You really think our supporters had much to cheer about last week to create an atmosphere? Pffttt

Agreed. Looking forward to seeing the final Jetta youtube video now that he has finally got his first goal.

Wow. Going to be in a minority I'd think. ANZ has been a wasteland for a long time in terms of atmosphere.

You would think that the Swans might be a chance against Freo next week after their loss today.
