Cheapest (that I can determine) at Subi are $40.50. As for any ticketing fiasco on Monday I dont quite understand why people felt the urgent need to queue to get their tickets on Monday anyway. If it was being played at the SCG I would understand, but not at the 80,000 seat capacity ANZ Stadium. I still havent bought mine yet (although there's another reason for that).

Relax and enjoy that we are playing in the finals again and better still, playing a final in Sydney.
Firstly lets look at the market we are in. In a non AFL state we are not going to get people to attend an unpopular venue where the best seats are 75 bucks. I'm talking of the ordinay punter here and not the diehard AFL fan who would go regardless of where it is. We would have a better chance of a big crowd if the AFL campaigned hard and made the prices afforadable for the average family especially out west.

Secondly I lined up because I wanted to choose where I sat which you can't do online.

As for being excited - after the debacle on Monday and CS pissing me off this morning I am fully fired up and can't wait for Sun where my frustration will be unleased on the Blues.

God I love you Al, nearly every post you write makes me laugh, whether it's intended as funny or not, usually because of the mental image it evokes!
BTW I completely agree with your views on ANZ. Crap, crap stadium, but wouldn't miss Sunday for all the tea in China!
Oh and Cruiser, don't know where you were sitting on Saturday night, but I paid $42 for my seats at the Gabba and were told they were the best seats in the house! Far better view than the $45 ones available for Sunday.

Someone ages back mentioned that there should be some TV advertising happening...so letting you know that I heard a TV ad this morning. I was in the other room so I didn't actually see it, but heard it something like "...get behind our Swans in the finals."

Anybody else seen or heard it?

                  in Sydney, that is.

Jeez people ... being in the finals is all about lining up for tickets and talking footy crap with the people in the line for two hours.

                      It's most the fun.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

                        You're right Annie.
Whilst I did cheat this time and get mine on line, one of my all time favourite memories was the camp out outside the SCG the night we beat the Saints to get tickets to the 05 grannie.
Oh, what a night! The camaraderie and sheer joy and excitement was something to behold! We talked footy crap for wayyyyyyy more than two hours that night!

PS Only EVER with you Al!

A friend bought them - told me they were the cheap seats (top level, half way up, behind the goals, eastern end). Price was printed on the ticket.

Just bought four tix for Sunday. Section 118, row 28, $35. Great seats, great price. Last ticket was pax 33175.

Don't you mean Sunday afternoon? Or are you also going to the Bulldogs-Collingwood game at the MCG?
