In playing the Saints this week we will see what difference a good coach can make to a team - a bit like the way we were coached in 2003 - 2006 - but hang there iis a link on there, unfortunately the link the Saints took Lyon instead of Longmire - I think we are finding out why !!!!!

yeah, lyon has defintely exceeded expectations with reiwoldt, hayes, milne, goddard, dal santo.....then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i knowComment

Im not jumping on the lets rid of horse bandwagon yet but I have been a little perplexed with some of the positioning of players this year most notably LRT. He is not a forward IMO, he began his career as a defender where he has played his best footy, he was non-existent against the tigers. Surely seaby, white or TDL would of been a better option. His persistence with kennelly is continuing to be a liability to the team and I think we were a bit premature in signing jude for another year. I still think though lets just see how horse goes next year, hopefully we finish off this year with a win or 2 and make the 8, have another good trade/draft week and have a strong 2012. Who knows, this time next year we might be calling him a genius

Horse needs to go yesterday, no new game plan, no new ideas, players out of position, finished players still playing, out-coached even by other rookies & hacks, punishing young players for the wrongs of the experienced player group by dropping them, bringing back the full flood (dropped by all sides after Grant Thomas retired), panicking, field kicking ordinary to diabolical, goal kicking diabolical, positioning in the centre bounces puzzling & not taking responsibility for losses by blaming the players. He is the coach & he should take responsibility but he seems to want to blame the players, the conditions, the umpires anyone but himself & his staff.Comment

Wouldn't it be easier Wolfy just to take any one of your older posts and just go ditto. It will save time in repeating yourself ad infinitum.
Maybe write about something positive, Okay...How about Sammy Reid. How good has he been this year? Lovely to watch his progress isn't it? See if you can refrain from saying "Yeah he's been great but Horse is holding him back" please.
