That's what we need. A Bower and a Bird and we'll have everyone fooled.

It seems 100% sure that Armstrong will become a Swan but for who ?????

SEabs not going to Port, Hawks just traded Renouf for pick 33, apparently Seabs medical didn't go to plan

Wonder if the Crows will have any interest in Seabs. Minus Maric, they're stuffed if Jacobs goes down.

Don't know if Seaby failed hte medical, but Port have got Renouf.

            Please not Lewis Johnston.

If true, add it to the list:

              2008: Pick 12 Lewis Johnston
              2007: Pick 11 Patrick Veszpremi
              2006: Pick 15 Daniel O'Keefe
              2003: Pick 16 Josh Willoughby

Lucky for us we pick up players like Sam Reid and Dan Hannebery with mid range picks.

Super excited about Armstrong though, the Swans have had their eye on him for a while I believe.

No because their List Manager specifically said they want a ruckman that can play a second role which is the problem we have with Seaby.

Hmm, were we about to get pick 33 for Seaby before he failed his medical?

What's so exciting about Armstrong? Apart from having a lousy attitude and a drinking problem he's done SFA on the field. Yeah, I'm still angry...

                        And.............

                        1996: Pick 4 Mark Kinnear
                        1997: Pick 11 Jason Saddington
1998: Pick 4 Ryan Fitzgerald. Although Pick 3 - Nic Fosdike and Pick 8: Jude
1999: Pick 21 Scott Stevens and Pick 26 FS Stephen Doyle
2000: Pick 24 Luke Ablett, Pick 8 was traded for Paul Williams
2001: Pick 28 Mark Powell, Pick 13 as aprt of Barry Hall deal.

Some of these were injury plagued but we seem to have done better by trading our first round picks for players rather than selecting them.

I'm glad you're seeing the positive of getting Armstrong. Should play well for Swans. Has loads of potential. Will go well under tutoridge of Grandpa Goodes.

I can see the positives of getting Armstrong, but not for Johnston.

Emma Quayle is reporting the LJ deal is done pending a medical.

Lewis Johnston is heading to Adelaide to be medically checked. Deal as it stands would be for Armstrong & 35, but the Swans want a bit more.
Oh well. Much as I liked LJ we had trouble finding a place for him.

Well I've also got a lousy attitude, have a drinking problem and have done SFA on the field so I guess I feel a bond.

Seriously though, it is just a feeling, backed up by a history of the Swans making good calls in exactly this situation.

To quote my favourite movie - you don't need proof when you have instinct.
