Its time for okeefe to go back to the HFF. If they did promise more midfield time , they have kept that side of the bargain over the past few seasons but as a midfielder , others are more suited now ,and he really is needed up in that position.

Its a travesty that Bevo is running around the WAFL when Everitt still has a place on our list

Spang is injured according to the Swans site another 4 weeks but that might be a little out of date as it gets updated on Tuesday I think. Which means another 3 weeks til he starts to get a reserves game. TDL has had an injury and just returned to the resies for the first game. Apparently he pressured and tackled well.

If we try hard this could be another Bevo flogging post. (AGE and use by date is the reason Bevo is not here anymore).

Bevo (whilst a personal fav - cause he gave it 110%)

So does Itsy. Agree that time is running out for the little spider.

Yes he only had last week to prepare and certainly did not look fit to me in real match conditions. Never underestimate the opposition and that is just what we did by playing underdone players and still trying out a forward line that is never going to work. Get LRT and Everitt off the forward line. Everitt can get and go on a wing but is hopeless in the forward line and can't hold a mark to save himself.

Based on TDL's reserves performance, I would expect a swift return to the side - he is one of the very few "natural" forwards we have. Not particularly tall or fast, he just knows where to be, and he knows where the big sticks are.

Sammy Reid had a dirty day, but will be better for the run. We can't expect a brilliant game every time.

Looking down the list of goalkickers, I was struck by how many goals were kicked by midfielders - the WCE side of the mid 2000s did that too but they had a GUN midfield - can ours step up in the absence of an actual functioning forward line?
Reid only had a dirty day in front of goal and really needs to learn how to drop the ball properly. He had 19 disposals and 6 marks which was pretty ok seeing the delivery was a shambles. Yes we need some forwards to come in and kick goals. ROK, TDL, Lambie and Spang when fit. The news is ROK probably won't be ready for round 2. Shaw will be back and it looks as though Parker is out for 2-3 weeks now with a hairline fracture of the jaw. So the elbow never contacted hid jaw huh! It B well did and I hope McDonald gets three for rough play.

I agree ,he can go to a wing position but in the Reserves. As you say,he cannot hold a mark,he fumbles,he missed a goal Big Al could have kicked and his opposition player can run off him all day.He is not AFL standard, sad but true! TDL at his worst is still a better propect than Everitt as is Pyke ,Lamb, and probably Morton. I am dissappointed we are talking about Everitt and the legendary LRT in the same thread. What about LRT in the 05 Grand Final! What has Everitt ever done for us?

I didn't see him miss a goal from the boundary line, 50m out and into a howling breeze.

Not sure if your serious Ugg but in that match he didnt touch the thing for 3 quarters (in fact he conceded a few goals down back with soft efforts), and then kicked 2 goals in the final quarter, one of which was on the siren when the game had already been won

and I remember the shocked look on the coaches faces when they threw him forward and he actually did something.
