Qualifying Final - Adelaide vs Sydney

Hey Eddie, get your head out of your arse and comment on the footy. Nobody gives a @@@@ about your opinion about the AFL and the Sydney market.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Looks like it might be a Sydney West Coast prelim......the saga continues.

I told youse all, if we win or break even on the centre clearances we almost win all games. Even though we didn't get enough inside 50, we either won the clearance or stopped them from clearing the centre. Our defensive side in there was so much better. Brilliant stuff. Watching Hawthorn demolish the Pies out of the centre last night, we have do this again if we play them.

Any word on what's up with Ben McGlynn? He looked pretty upset! Hope it's nothing serious!

Great win. 37 inside 50s to 59. But a lot of the Crows' entries were pretty shallow or wide, and we had 52 rebound 50s.

LRT only had eight possessions but seemed like he was everywhere. Tippett and Walker 1 goal and 7 marks between them - sensational effort by the back six.

Nice dilemma of what to do with Reg, Mitch and LRT in the prelim. After knocking off this hoodoo, I really hope we get to play Collingwood.

LRT absolutely blew me away today. Would be an all australian if he played in defence. Alex Johnson played out of his skin after a pretty ordinary game last week. What impressed me is that we didn't go to sleep and let them back in the game. When they came back at us we held out and actually controlled the pace of the game, slowing it down and chipping it around a bit. I know it looks defensive and impotent, but that's how you hold onto a lead, give your players a rest and stop the opposition from kicking three or four in a row.

Plus after four hard games in close succession (Pies, Hawks, Cats & Crows) the week off is just what we need. Collingwood will be hurting + maybe a couple of suspensions, Hawks are falling over with injuries at the final post. I'm feeling a lot better this week than last week.

Very sorry to see McGlynn go down. I reckon he knows he's gone for the rest of the season. Grundy for McGlynn next week.

I was commenting about this to my wife - McGuire is such a tool. He can never just provide anyone with a compliment without whacking them too.

LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.
