Well, I enjoyed that. Jude, surely not... attempting to smother and elbow connected up with Dangerfield's jaw, but in no way could be construed as either negligent or intentional.

Great team performance and everyone contributed at times. Shaw does seem to have a lot of clangers in big games but had really great moments too. Morten fulfilling his destiny to win a premiership with the Swans after being discarded by Richmond.

Would love to play either West Coast or North in 2 weeks. Not so sure about Collingwood.

    BTW, ROK is epic.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

I loved LRT in the post game interview where he said it will be good for the older guys to have a rest..

Qualifying Final - Adelaide vs Sydney

Simply awesome. We need the week off. Can't wait for the prelim. They say it all year but swans play finals footy every week and gee it stood us in good stead today. Can't afford so many silly errors by foot against the hawks, Geelong or collingwood though. A premiership is ous for the taking.

                    Some observations:

                    ROK was simply outstanding.
Our backline hardly made an error. LRT is a backman and must play back. That must be about Mal's best ever game. Marty was almost faultless as was Teddy.
Marty was almost faultless. Johnson clearly took on board the Longmire spray last week.
The pressure on the ball carrier was sensational and it meant the delivery into their forward half was always under pressure.
When he is on Goodes is a match winner when on. I reckon he made one mistake and it was late in the game when he did a little chiop for a turnover that he didn't need to do.
Morton; How good was he. 2 goals and 2 goal assists that I saw. I thought his defensive game was good. If he couldn't mark he spoiled. Brereton said after the game he needs to improve his defensive side. What a muppett. What game did he watch.
And what about Craig Bird. He was everywhere. In and under in space. Might be a bit slow but he linked up really well all game. Has a huge tank.
Judes last quarter was as gutsy as you get. Just found another gear, like he has done for his whole career. I used to think he "saved" himself by coasting for 3 quarters but his second half of his career has really been something. His indurance is amazing.
How important is Nick Smith. Gave the Cocky a bath.
The rest of the team was bloody terrific.

Where did you hear this? Must be hearing different, just heard on radio and TV that it's a hammy. Either way, out for the year though.

We had 60 more positions and 75 to 50 tackles. We had less inside 50's by a long way but all the other stats were demonstrably better.

Great game! Good to see Goodesy and Jetta lift. LRT was back where he belongs, he looked great down back, not sure what they'll do when Grundy comes back. Whole team was well-oiled and Morton looked sensational! Look forward to seeing him again in 2 weeks.
Only complaint is Shaw's disposal's were the most infuriating thing. He worked hard and ran hard but just absolutely @@@@s it on the disposal.
... would also love to see Armstrong slip into the team somehow...

This^. And what a threat we are when we put it together.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

                                We all know - and he knows - he won't win a Charlie , or even a B&F .
The man's bravery however is beyond reproach . Weaknesses last season were disposal and decision-making (even when not pressured). Pleasingly , he's improved markedly in both this season - encouraging to see that in any player , truly amazing to see that in a bloke aged 30.
