Our backline hardly made an error. LRT is a backman and must play back. That must be about Mal's best ever game. Marty was almost faultless as was Teddy.
Marty was almost faultless. Johnson clearly took on board the Longmire spray last week.
The pressure on the ball carrier was sensational and it meant the delivery into their forward half was always under pressure.
When he is on Goodes is a match winner when on. I reckon he made one mistake and it was late in the game when he did a little chiop for a turnover that he didn't need to do.
Morton; How good was he. 2 goals and 2 goal assists that I saw. I thought his defensive game was good. If he couldn't mark he spoiled. Brereton said after the game he needs to improve his defensive side. What a muppett. What game did he watch.
And what about Craig Bird. He was everywhere. In and under in space. Might be a bit slow but he linked up really well all game. Has a huge tank.
Judes last quarter was as gutsy as you get. Just found another gear, like he has done for his whole career. I used to think he "saved" himself by coasting for 3 quarters but his second half of his career has really been something. His indurance is amazing.
How important is Nick Smith. Gave the Cocky a bath.
The rest of the team was bloody terrific.
Pretty much spot on . A few issues , but it would be churlish to raise them in this thread.

That was an awesome performance by Sydney. Magnificent defence, and controlled the game from go to whoa. Took the crowd out of play, and applied intense pressure across the four quarters.

I am so happy right now. Brilliant team performance; loved LRT being down back for a change and Morton forward adds a little extra, hope he stays!!!
Bloods all the way baby!!!! Absolutely shattered for McGlynn though.. heartbreaking injury at this time of year.
I am definitely going to try and purchase tickets and flights for the prelim provided it's not on the saturday night (damn brother's 21st).

And I agree with some of the previous comments, it'd be great if Armstrong could slip in somewhere, but it's a hard one to work out. I sure don't envy the selectors!

Out of my tree with excitement...and in love with all the team except Shaw.....hitting a target whether by foot or hand seems to be a bit beyond him at the moment....made me pull my hair out.

ROK was sensational....Jetts caught Dnagerfield and he didn't like it.......doesn't like the cold steel.

Nearly the best moment of the season for mine. That chase on Dangerfield was quite amazing. The man love for Jets continues unabated.

Just like LRT went back, it should be Armstrong for McGlynn. Then again who goes out for Grundy, because pounds to peanuts they will play him.. I would be filthy if they dropped Morton. Surely not.

Qualifying Final - Adelaide vs Sydney

What a brilliant game, I had a tear in my eye for pretty match the whole game. Highlights we're Morton, Kenny at half time, LRT and the celebrations at the end. Lowlight was mcglynn hopefully he will come back in time but it looks serious.

Now thats an interesting proposition...perhaps a tad overstated...but today who cares! Can you believe ROK is the guy who had a couple of touches when returning from injury earlier in the year. An amazing performance that should not be underestimated. Kennedy...what can you say! Goodes...welcome back.

On second thoughts I think it will be Grundy in for McGlynn. Start him on the bench and use him up forward because LRT is a far better and poised backman than Grundy. It is very hard for oppositions to isolate LRT in the last line because he plays it so well. I reckon there are few RWOers eating LRT humble pie for tucker tonight. Add a bit of sweet chilli sauce folks to make it taste a bit better. Chew it well so the lumps don't get caught in your throat.

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
