True although I think his training would be quite intense but of course nothing can replicate match conditions.

I had assumed that Tippett was innocent, but I guess the evidence said otherwise. The Crows got off fairly lightly, but I'm fine with that. Their execs were to blame and they copped the biggest penalty.

I suspect Tippett's side requested being banned from the round 11 Adelaide game and was willing to take the previous 10 games as well. This is really a penalty on the Adelaide fans who will not be able to vent their spleen at their home game, but will get their opportunity at the Port game 2 weeks later. Also helps the financially ailing Port team who will get a sellout for the Swans game.

All this assuming we get Tippett in the end. Now suspecting that he may well have been an active party and knowing of the breaches of the code, I am not all that keen to draft him.

I imagine we will get him in the end, but really don't care.

Kurt Tippett was suspended from the pre-season competition and from 11 AFL matches, with another 11 matches suspended for five years.
That mean we get a 11 match discount of player payment.

Talk about watering down penaties. All but one person got half the penalty suspended. That means if in the next 5 years they have an indiscretion they will cop another 6 months. Big deal; looks like the early plea got them off the hook. Harper ends up out for 2 months and is back in the chair as of 1st March. In the presser Caroline Wilson banged on about Tippett going to the premiership club after 11 matches; "is that fair". If he was lined up with the Tiges she wouldn't have said boo. Then she rattled on about the state of footy in Adelaide (off topic). No wonder interstate supporters hate her.
