Not many days to the early Xmas on 11th December. Think you'll get a new full forward for early Xmas Annie whether you want him or not!

Ahhhh....so you are saying that Ted is a shining light of intelligence amid a sea of stupid footballers, not that Jesse is half witted.....
        Fair enough then

Oh, puhhhhhhlease.. It is a relevant, and timely, riposte where contract negotiations are concerned. Tippett has to be held accountable to the situation he found himself in, and there is a similar argument going on at federal level right now. If, as unconfuseme pointed out, there was a pic of Tippett in his budgies in today's paper, we would all have a little chortle at someone making a comparison to Abbott, and we would all move on. Be an Aussie?! Wow. I for one agree with keeping politics out of this forum cos it seeks only to divide us further. We have our love for the Swans, but so many other opinions to divide us. I wouldn't talk about politics at a dinner party.. So I would prefer not to read about it here. Obviously I don't make the rules around here but I feel I can state my opinion on that matter.

And this whole be an Aussie or "unaustralian" tag I find to be so divisive and politically loaded. What is a true Australian? If what foreigners were to say, they'd think we're racists that bash indians and turn away legitimate refugees? See now you've gone and made me all political. Completely off topic re swans. If we're gonna talk politics, lets keep it to AFL politics.

                  My 2 cents.

                  PS Go Swans

Unsure if this has been addressed earlier ....

If Tippett cannot play until Round 12 - then does Sydney have the ability to promote a rookie onto the playing list - for rounds 1 to 11 ??

Interesting question, I don't think it has been asked yet. I wouldn't think so, if it were a MRP suspension you wouldn't be able to, so it would be surprising if they made an exception for this.

Tippett's suspension is excellent news for Membrey.

Interesting that the suspension is one game after the Adelaide game???
Forgive me if this had been covered in the other 243 pages, but you can't seriously except me read them all, right!!
Basically, the only way this thread will reach 300 pages is with a conspiracy angle, want more do you need?
It's a AFL plot, yet again, to screw the swans, yet again!!
The Adelaide managers keep their jobs, but our boy can't play until the season is almost over, who is being punish here?
And why wouldn't White want to go to a club which, well, may want to actually play him in a game, the evil AFL!
                            The truth will come out!

Agreed. If his effort and buy-in is up to it, maturity and experience should give him a start or two in R 1-11. I'm hoping he can emulate Podsiadly's step-up a few years back.
