Ease up. Pods had played in one of the strongest second tier comps for years before getting a crack and playing well. I hope he stays fit and can play at least one NAB cup game, after that we will see.Comment

Doesn't seem all that likely, in part because the Swans have said they want him to increase his endurance so he can play up the ground. My guess is it's more likely that LRT or Walsh( or yes possibly even Jessica) will be our FF come round #1.
And by the time DirtyKurt's set to go, Gary Rohan will hopefully be back to 100%Comment

Membrey? Really? You reckon an 18 year old is going to be the Swans solution to their lack of a key forward for the start of the year?

So with a few days to go before the PSD, GWS officially state they won't be drafting Tippett who never really fitted the profile of what they are building anyway.
As most of us thought, just Sheedy playing showman and getting GWS in the press for a few weeks of the off season.
In the Adelaide Advertiser today, Steven Schwert, ex Crows fitness man for the last decade says Tippett will be ready to go Round 12 as he is "very professional in his preparation and trains hard" or words to that effect. So there's an insiders unbiased view of Tippett.
Just not sure who gets dropped in R12 to make way for Tippett ?Comment

It is borne of frustration. Jessie White has had more chances than a hooker at a buck's party. We all wanted/want him to succeed. But ee is unable to blossom into the player he needs to be to play AFL at the top level i.e. the level of the Swans. Cruel as this may be, it is unfair on team mates to have to wear Jessie's shortcomings through a game or suffer from his ill thought decisions. Let's be frank: There are better performing players albeit not as tall playing at the State level i.e. SAFL, WA state league. Should we feel sorry for them (well, yes we should) that life made them better players but not taller?"Play like you can’t lose."Comment

Only if there is a better combination. Right now there 'aint unless Walsh or Everitt gets some speed or Jessie's imagination becomes fertile. Whatever happened to Spangher - was he delisted? If fully fit, and we still have him, he could be a good 'fill'."Play like you can’t lose."Comment
