I was thinking before, considering he can't play In any capacity until round 12, is it worth him delaying the start of his pre season by at least a few weeks ? No point being conditioned to play round 1 then having to wait 12 weeks until you can play a match.

Highly unlikely. I imagine they will want to get him to the club and start treating him as just another one of the team ASAP. They would want to set the right tone of no special treatment from the get-go. Would love to see him doing assistant duties for Crouchy a la Gary Rohan's role this year.

With the new rules for any suspended players that get reported from 2012 they cannot use the preseason games as part of the games missed for the suspension...

I wonder if it would be worth an appeal as Kurt's offence was committed by having underhanded payments were in fact a couple of years ago. When they occurred.

Shouldn't the rules that applied at the time be used for the suspension for 2008.... You shouldn't have to pay it forward IMO. My understanding is that any suspended players missed the NAB cup games as part of their suspension in 2008..

Not his fault that the league took till 2012 to suspend him!

Therefore he misses the preseason cup and returns to play in round 8. (Well it is a good idea in my mind anyway...)
