Hope there is no truth to that rumour! It's hard to imagine a man of the physical capability of Kennedy being bullied, but there are other forms of bullying!

Kennedy is four years on from his Hawthorn days and had risen greatly in status and standing in the game!

to be honest watching Kennedy kick the ball pre joining the swans was like watching Dunkley on a good day

but anyway this just sounds like a crock of @@@@ re the whole kennedy trade

Mick Malthouse interested in Everitt, along with GWS and WC. And we've finally offered him a contract.

So all our players are supposedly being shafted 'cos of the Franklin deal, wouldn't we have delisted some anyway?

A week or so ago there was an article mentioning Everitt's situation that stated the Swans were a club he was still negotiating with and could very well stay. So I am not convinced by the suggestion that we've only now offered him any kind of contract.

I am guessing that we couldnt offer incy a contract prior to lambie leaving because we didnt have the cap space ? but we certainly could be negotiating given the weeks events

                    Shaw sweetener secures Pies swap

Says Pies have committed to signing Armstrong as a delisted free agent. My guess was that we were trying to package Armstrong with White to get a better pick than 44, but Collingwood baulked at that.

Surely this was just started by disgruntled hawks peoples, JPK surely is big enough to deal with schoolyard squabbles. If he was on the market you could bet Roosy would move heaven and earth to get him, must of heard him at least a dozen times this past season singing Josh's praises and remarking how important he is to our side. As good as getting Buddy in MAY be, losing JPK would nullify it to some extent and ask any swans fan who theyd prefer and who is more vital to the side and im tipping pretty much all would answer JPK.

I'm sure that I saw Buddy and Josh chatting away after one of our recent clashes with the Hawks.

That part of the article doesn't make any sense to me. Isn't TA still contracted? Why would we just delist him? We'd still have to pay out the contract, therefore no gain in the cap right? Or do I have some tiny but significant detail wrong?

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Yep, it appears he's out of contract.

With TA gone, we probably will utilise our first 5 picks in the ND.

I wonder if the Swans may reconsider putting Lloyd Perris on the rookie list, they may think he's a better option on the senior list versus a player recruited at pick 48. They certainly wouldn't have been expecting the departures of Lamb, Armstrong and Everitt all at the same time.
